Established in 1954, Yon-Ka stands as a quintessential French brand, a
creation fueled by the botanical ardor of the Mühlethaler family.
Visionaries Cécile, Ernest, and Charles Mühlethaler founded
Laboratoires Multaler, pioneering aromatherapy and phytotherapy with
ancestral knowledge guarded among a select few in the scientific and
medical realm.

Rooted in a fascination for the delicate aromas of plants and
sun-energized essential oils, the Mühlethaler family meticulously
tested the cleansing, healing, and mood-altering properties on
themselves and their cherished ones. Initially crafted for medical use
by physiotherapists, their debut products marked the genesis of a
transformative journey.

A pivotal moment arose in their exploration with the birth of
Quintessence—a harmonious fusion of five essential oils from the
Mediterranean region, forever imprinting the signature of their
illustrious phyto-aromatic brand.

We have added acoustic treatment around the entire area so that you can slip into the deep meditative state that esthetics offers.

Where are you located?

We are located at 740 Main Street in Springfield, Oregon, about 15 minutes away from Eugene, Oregon. There is ample parking on the East side of our building. We’re right across the street from Memo’s Mexican Restaurant and just East of The Pump Cafe.

How do I find a local Esthetician?

Finding the right esthetician for you involves research and patience. Recommendations from your friends and family is a good way to know if someone else has had a good experience. Read reviews and pay attention to what the practitioners past clients have to say about their work and professionalism. Visit spas to get a feel for the environment and consult with an esthetician to discuss your unique body and systems. Ensure they practice good hygiene and have a comfortable, warming studio, reflecting the luxury experience you are seeking.

What is the appropriate amount to tip?

We acknowledge a growing sense of “tip exhaustion” from the modern consumer and as consumers ourselves. Our esthetician sets their own prices, already taking factors into consideration like their experience, taxes, overhead, time spent on thoughtful sessions and providing high quality products throughout your procedure. That being said, we never expect a tip from you, nor do we think there is an indentifiable acceptable tip or tip percentage. We humbly accept any form of gratuity you feel inpsired to leave with absolutely no expectations.

Our level of service is not determined by an anticipated tip from you, we respect that you’ve given us a tremendous amount of trust. Some of our most favorite tips have been thoughtful homemade gifts, like Sarah’s sweet and spicy pickles or Liza’s hand picked crystals. We appreciate you and the honor of having a memorable experience with you is gift enough.

 How do I find the best local spa?

There’s a few things you can keep an eye out for: Is your therapist responsive and timely? Do they show up sober and on time for your appointment? Do you feel that the therapist is actively listening to your boundaries and needs and explaining themselves in a respectful and understanding manner? How clean is the spa bathroom? Ultimately your comfort is going to determine what spa is best for you, we’d like to think ours is the best in town, and even if you don’t agree, we can typically lend a hand in referring you to a spa that might best suit your skin care needs.
